Alan is a Partner based in the Washington, D.C. office with more than 25 years of experience litigating cases in federal and state courts. Alan successfully represents businesses and individuals in matters involving employer liability and civil rights, defamation, contract disputes, medical malpractice and biomedical ethics, construction/design defects and accidents, premises liability, transportation, intentional torts and general negligence.

Prior to joining the firm, Alan served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the Office of Corporation Counsel of the District of Columbia (now known as the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia), and as counsel to the United States Senate Sergeant at Arms. Alan has been recognized as a Top-Rated (AV) Lawyer in Washington, D.C. by Lexis Nexis Martindale-Hubbell, and has been featured in SuperLawyers.
