Experience

Kate is a Partner based in the Washington, D.C. office with over 20 years of experience litigating cases in both state and federal courts.  Kate has successfully represented businesses and individuals in disputes involving premises liability, commercial trucking and transportation, construction/design defects, construction related accidents, products liability, environmental and toxic torts, automobile claims, intentional torts, and general negligence matters.  A portion of her practice is also dedicated to assisting multiple hospital clients with policy issues and guardianship matters.    

Prior to joining the firm, Kate worked for the Honorable Cheryl M. Long of the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.  From 2013-2016, Kate served on the Steering Committee for the Litigation Section of the D.C. Bar (served as co-chair from 2015-2016).
